Preparing for Ofsted Workshop

This interactive workshop will give governors, new & experienced, confidence to demonstrate that they 'know their school well' and are holding school leaders to account.

The workshop is facilitated by Andrea Offord, currently a Governor with the Synergy Schools Federation.  Andrea brings a wealth of experience gained from over 15 years of school governance.  Each session will be tailored to the governors attending.

Course Highlights

• Brief overview of process and recent experience of local schools
• The evidence that inspectors are looking for and being prepared to talk about it
• Likely key questions governors will be asked and questions relating to school context
• Sources of evidence to support answers and demonstrate effective governance
• Action planning
