Each half term we hold an informal meeting for all our Headteachers.  This meeting usually takes the following format:

• Local & national updates
• CPD & Event updates from Swaledale Alliance
• Breakout Discussion Groups 

Our meetings are usually no more than two hours.

Breakout Discussion Groups

The breakout groups offer Headteachers an opportunity to catch up with each other. Usually comprising of 4 - 6 people there is a very loose agenda with more focus on what's happening in the your school or chat around current local issues.  There is an opportunity to share thoughts with the whole meeting afterwards.

Headteachers have commented this has been a valuable opportunity to share concerns and ask questions that would otherwise go unspoken.  It is a supportive and reassuring forum.

You are welcome to attend virtually or in person (Swaledale Alliance Training Hub), the meetings last approximately 2 hours.
