It is important to note that whilst the training environment, training practices and physical techniques are all risk assessed and governed by strict safety measures there is a requirement to ensure delegates are physically fit to participate.
The physicality involved is minimal but will include:
- A level of activity that may raise the resting heart rate
- The practice of skills that involve the movement of the upper and lower limbs e.g. raising arms and stepping back simultaneously
- The practice of skills that involve moving from standing to seated and back to standing again. In some instances, courses may include techniques that involve moving up and down from the floor. (This will be confirmed in advance of the training delivery)
- The practice of skills that involve working with a training partner/s
- PLEASE NOTE whilst there may be scenarios or role plays, these are not ‘pressure tests’ and are entirely voluntary. No one will be expected to participate in any activities they are uncomfortable with.
