Bespoke In-School Training
Preventing and Managing Disruptive, Challenging and Hazardous Behaviour
Working with our freelance facilitators, we are now able to offer a bespoke programme to our schools. We understand it can be difficult to release multiple staff at any given time, with this option the Managing Challenging Behaviour programme, certificated by Securicare International Ltd, can be organised within your school.
Our trainers are happy to support you on training days or over two twilight sessions. The programme will be tailored to suit your current needs in school.
Course Overview
As with our main programme, delegates are required to complete the Securicare Online learning ahead of this training. Our facilitators will then cover the theory of preventing and managing disruptive, challenging and hazardous behaviour followed by physical intervention skills.
Both courses focus on restraint reduction, primary and preventative strategies for the management of disruptive and challenging behaviours. They also cover positive responses to physically challenging or hazardous behaviours.
You may chose to train select staff in the physical intervention techniques and all skills in the managing challenging behaviour theory, this can be accommodated within this programme. Our faciltators will also talk you through the implementation of a behavioural support plan.
This programme also gives access to resources and support materials.
